• I was so saddened to hear, only yesterday evening Monday 25th November 2024, that Christian or “Mache’ “ had passed away. Despite not seeing him in person for many years I could still hear his distinctive voice and remember his walk. We were in the same year at secondary school. I have nothing but fond memories of Mache. I have reflected on those times a lot the past 16 hours since I heard of his passing. I just wish I had seen him or spoken to him in more recent times. My thoughts are with his brothers, family, friends and all that knew Christian. May you rest in peace old friend. With much love, Marcus Beard.

• So sad to hear of my dear friend’s passing. He was a kind, fun friend when I moved to Lydiard from up north when I was 6. Missed him lots when he moved to Bassett a few years later but we rekindled our friendship at ‘big’ school. He was always so much fun and although I haven’t seen him for many years, he would still make me smile with the occasional Facebook comment, even just a like. Our thoughts are with Marcus, Dominic and all Chris’s family and friends. Rest in peace Chris. A great man. Xxx
